does anybody else's wrists hurt like heck after about 12 jumps? I weigh a good 210 pounds and I have the stock shocks. I was out ridin today and its like it jars my wrists bad, is there anyway to prevent this? like handlebar placement?

Look into houser's wrist wresters. They should take some shock off your wrists.

mine hurts all the time, and not because i don't have a girlfriend!!:blah: hahahaha!!!!
ever since i snaped my arm just above the wrist in 2 places and turned the tendons into 3 year old rubber bands. i smoked a tree at about 3km/h went over the bars but my arem didn't.
that sucks. but, yes my wrist hurts too.:macho

GET THE YFZ!!! It has a LOT more travel than an EX, and also more than the new 450R (I call it 450EX).

ill tell u what i do....i kno since im always standing it causes more on your wrist....because your hand is on the clutch and throttle...i angle the controls down a little bit...my clutch lever is at 10 o clock on the bars that away when your standing your wrist aint bent at such an angle...and when im sitting down i just rest my hand over the handlebars and pull the clutch like that....but having your controls down a lil bit shoud help...

This is off the subject but do most of you guys/gals still use the thumb throttle or have you converted to a twist ? Breaking or jamming thumbs is a common problem and we've all but eliminated it with the twist style.
