I have a 2002 400ex. Has WB Eseries exhaust, K&N filter, Stock pilot and needle, and 155 main. White brothers reccomended the 170 but that was too rich and it was noticably slower on top end. I then put the 155 in and it seems to run smooth and has its original speed back but I have ridden other 400's with similar setups and they seem much faster. If anyone can give me some advice on where to start I would appreciate it. I don't really care about top speed because I ride on technical trails, rocks, mud, etc. I just feel like it should perform a lot better out of the hole.
Thanks

If you don't care about the top speed drop down one tooth on the front sprocket.....then you will have your low end that you want.
ps: your jetting sounds good to me.

your gearing and tire weights and sizes can make a nice difference. also, make sure you don't have too much play in the throttle cable. if you have 1/4 inch or more, thats too much. tighten it down some. this will make a difference in power too.

how many discs are you running on the WB slip on, with the 155 main you should be around 12
