i have been having alot of interent problems lately with my internet explorer........half the time the home page comes up to some spyware or on some blazefind thing.
the window shows up for like 10 secs then its just minimizes and disappears...........anyone else have this same problem?

and i have been getting like 4x the amount of pop up ads as lately. i have to go into the control panel and switch my home page to exriders.com just to get on the site so it loads right from when i click on the interent explorer shorcut. anyone have a solution to this? any info would help............thanks

Go here and download Ad-aware 6.0.
http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10214379.html?tag=lst-0-1

After you download and install it, open the program up and you'll see a button for "Check for updates now". Click that link and download the newest reference files. After you do that run the program and it'll remove any spyware it finds. I run it about once a week and I never get pop-ups anymore.

Go To Run-Type MSconfig-Go to The Startup Tab- Uncheck anything you don't need there. Reply and tell me if you have XP and what is on the startup list. Ill be able to tell you what to uncheck. This will most likely fix the problem.

ok I will fix everything for you...in 5 easy steps

Step 1. run this free online scan (scan your whole harddrive)and quartentine everything (http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm)

step 2. download and run this adware (http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button)

step 3. download install and run this spybot scanner (http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058.html?tag=lst-0-2)

step 4. go to www.google.com and install their toolbar/pop up blocker.

step 5. If everything is not fixed with these kill yourself. Or post again saying it didnt work.

this is pretty much a full proof step of complete and uter pop-up/adware/spyware free computer browsing.

this can be a good thing...just dont unclick anything that says sys on it. you do not need to run so many applications to use your computer. Some poeple have tons of stuff going and they wonder why their computer is slow. You dont need the real player update app running all the time. you dont need most of the stuff running. Also if it says system32 in their is is a virus that needs to be removed.

I tried to find that toolbar popup blocker on google and I couldn't find it. Where would it be in google. Would it be under the tools section.
