OOOPS!! Carb Problem

HI All, took the carb off...Pulled the choke and put a 42 Pilot in. Put the machine back together and noticed when I was cleaning up I forgot to put that plastic basket thing back on the main jet....What is that thing for?? Can I live without it on or am I pulling everything back apart??

every thing has a purpose, extra parts = unsat I would rework it but thats just me

its a baffle to keep the fuel from sloshing away from the main. i've never run a carb w/out one, but try it and see if it makes a difference.

As stated it is a baffle to keep fuel around the main jet. You may or may not have problems with it missing.

Put it back in !!!!!
