does anybody cut there handlebars shorter?

I cut 3/4" off of each side of my t2's to make them feel better

would u still have room for all the controls and u might have to finda bigger or smaller end cap so they dont go through the end of your grips

im just asking if anybody cuts them shorter i personally leave them they way they are because i will not have enough room for the controls

i had to take about and inch off of mine and it made a world of difference, i like to go fast and make my own trails, the bars used to stick out past my plastics and now they are a lil in. Made alot of difference

I put a set of Trail Tech 1-1/8" bars on and they hang out more than I like. I looked at cutting them but not enough room for that. I remember seeing bars with a tighter bend to them. (Burlson bend) It made for a narrower bar for woods riding.
