View Full Version : will crf big bore kits fit in the new 450r

im getting a new trx 450r soon and i want to put a big bore kit in it and i was wondering if the crf big bore kits work in the in it. Cause the trx came from the crf so does any one know if they would work?:confused:

the trx 450r has a bigger bore, less stroke, so no.

Actually it has a longer stroke and a smaller bore.

I'm not sure if the crf bore kits will work but give sparks or baldwin a call I'm sure they could help you out.

I doubt it. I don't know if the deck heigth is the same or not but if it was you might get away with a CRF cylender on the TRX but I doubt it. I have heard of someone haveing a big bore kit ready for it though. Puts it up just over a 500cc I guess. Not sure who makes it though. If you do a search in the TRX450R Information forum you might find it.
