Today I was messing around and put my yfz plastic on my 400ex and to my surprise it fit pretty good. None of the mounts line up but with some modifyed mounts t he plastics does fit. It looks pretty clean. The only problem I have found is the seat of the 400ex is a little more square than the yfz and the front fenders are pretty high and almost hit the end of the levers. But My steering stem and handlebars sit very low. This wouldn't be a big problem if if you cut the fender any ways. I'm will try to pics tomarrow. The rear yfz plastic won't fit though. Its made pretty simailer to the 400ex plastics but its a little longer and has a air box modded into it. I pretty sure the 400ex plastics I have will fit the yfz but it don't seem to fit as well. But I think you can make it fit pretty well/

I would go the other way, 400ex plastic on the yz. Sleeper mode, until you crack it open.

Well I didn't get pics yet. But to day I was trying to get the 400ex plastic to fit the yfz and ran into only one real problem is the seat on the two are a lot diffrent. If you could get custom seat, you could do this and make it look clean. I very surpised on how similar the plastice are besides the seats. Plus it looks like you probly use some 400ex air scoops with some modifacations.
