Hi, i am going to have to get new tires for my 250ex, and i was wondering if 22-12-9s will rub the exhaust, and rob a lotta power. The spider tracs were 12 inches, and i was looking at those, unless they rob power, or rub. Would i be better off with alltraks?

I'd say your quad will turn the tires but those are bit big,,I'd stick with 20 inchers on your quad dude,,tires aren't cheap and your not gonna be happy if you get them big ole puppy squasher tires on there and find out that your now at the back of the pack and your killen most of your power..

i've got 22 inch blackwaters on my recon and they can turn pretty well, and since the 250ex motor has more power you should be all set, as for it rubbing the pipe, i have only heard of that happen to one guy on here who owned a polaris, so you should be ok with that also

i have 20x10x9 fast trekkers on mine and it slowed it down a little , taller tires will make your quad go faster but smaller ones give quickness and look better, rims shouldnt change anything

Ive got 22x11x9 Razrs on mine and they dont hurt my power any. I didnt wanna go down to 20s at the time b/c I ride alot of rutted trails and need the ground clearance but I wish I had em now for the low end in woods, but you lose top end when you go down tire sizes on a shaft drive quad b/c you cannot change the gearing to compensate. My tires have bout an inch - inch 1/2 between the outter edge and the pipe so 12 inchers should be aight but I wouldnt recommend em.

Dam*, I forgot to get out that stick jammed between my brake line and brake drum. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/uhoh2.gif
