Well I don't know if you still remember but I made a post on the 250R I recently just purchased. Now I couldn't find one around the are so I went to my last resort, Ebay. Ive had previous experiences with ebay I didn't like, from R/C parts to car parts. Now the guy I was buying this from was from NY, so we met half way I rode it (ran really rich to me) but it seemed pretty good, I was just desprit. Well After 2 Weeks of riding I had it wide open and it seezed. We towed it to my freinds house and tore it down, and I had a buddy of mine from KandK come down, and we found a crack in the frame, brake pads worn out, Crank Seezed, it had bald tires to. So after months I finally had the frame stripped down had everything looked at Re-enforced and Powdercoated YZ Blue 300$ Later. Now thats just the frame, The motor was the main thing, I had called LRD, Went to KanK, CT racing etc. There prices were way up there, over 1500 easy. So I have a freind thats been racing dirtbikes his whole life, his family supports him. And He has a private motor worker build his race motor. His dad gave me the # and the guy said drop it off and I'll give you an estimate. The guy is like 50 and seems like he knows what he's talking about. Well he sd he can rebuild Everything for 750$ bore it out and make it race ready, and also tune my carb. So thats getting done as we speak. Well I'll put up more pics as time goes on, by april that sh*tty fron stock suspension set up has to go, Prolly getting the Gibson Front end. Hopefully it will be done by my first points race in April.
