Haven't noticed the cooling fan come on yet, but I also havent consistantly beaten the snot out of my 'R, and the temps here are still well below freezing.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed theirs coming on, and for how long...

I would think it would be very similar to the set up on my 2000 cbr600f4. It would kick on mostly in the middle of the summer when I was caught in traffic. Any other time, the air flow around the engine was enough to keep everything cool.

ive only heard my yfz come on once when I was wheeling for an hour or so with not to much air flow .. it was about 80 out. Im sure it wont kick on until its real real hot.

Ya mine has kicked on when it was sitting idleing for awhile. I got it hot on purpose to make sure it was working when I first bought it and when I was running a couple heat cycles through it before I rode it.
