I'm leaving sat. early to go to Gaylord Mi. Just wondered if any of you michigan people could tell me what the conditions were like. Everything online sounds like the snowcover is great. I haven't been up there for two years and am really excited about going. My younger brother is going with me, and two of my buddies. They have late 80's Yamaha's, so I'll have to take it easy on them, and not just because they are old.:D

dont know about michigan, but i can tell ya nebraska has over 2 foot of consistant cover in this area. The drifts are approaching 12 to 15 foot in spots now. The funny part, its still snowing. Have fun man. Snowmobiling is a blast

Im going to grayling this weekend, but I usally go to gaylord since my friend has a cabin there. I here that the trails are in pretty good shape, and i know that they got a little bit of snow last night and there is a weather advisory in grayling through tonight which is about 45 min. from gaylord.

I just got back from Gaylord/Waters area 2 weeks ago snowmobiling, and it was awlsome they had around 2-2-1/2 foot when we got there and it snowed another 1 foot while we stayed for the weekend. Get a little choppy on the main trailes unless you get behide a snow groomer but they are slow! Theres so many other trails you can ride there where you will never hit the same trail twice. Hope you have a GPS if you go off the trails, and look out for those trees they come up fast! I might be going up there next weekend also if everything works out. We rode brand new Polaris's XC600's.
