I'd say 47-48 actually. Those are pretty narrow. It would make a world of difference though!!!

I am also looking at getting +3+1 a arms for my x. Is that 49 1/2 inches with stock wheels or what offset?
Who offers the best deal on +3+1 a arms for a 300ex or 250x?

that 49.5 is with stock offset,i would reccomend 4+1 offset if you are looking to be as close as possible to the stock offset....with the 4+1 offset you mite be looking at somewhat 50 to 51 inches,im not to sure on how much more the 4+1 widens it tho,but stock is like 4+1.5 or something in that range

only get the 1" forward if you are running tt or you need more hookup due to the fact that you weigh less than about 165lbs

This is a tt & flat track quad......but i am curious, what is your reasoning for only advising +1 for tt or light weight?

I believe it will take away weight on your rear end, because its transferring more to the front end. This means less traction.

What your perfect is and what someone else's perfect is different. A cross country rider wouldnt think the +2+1 as perfect, too wide for them. For MX, a cross-country setup wouldnt work as well, too skinny. The type of riding you do, weight, style of riding, etc will all effect what set-up you need. Also some of it is personal preference.
