I have a question....my front breaks keep getting air in them....we have bled them 3 times but i still keep getting more air....could it be the master cylinder or something else. Someone said that I could replace the valve or something in it and it would solve the problem....or do i just need to get a new master cylinder all together....can anyone give me any advice? Thanks.

did you just bleed the brakes or take the hoses off and put all new fluid in. Water tends to condesate w/ the brake fluid. I would take all the lines off use and use new fluid. Could be the master cylinder, I had to constantly bleed the brakes on my atc and the master clyinder had a small leak, it would lose alittle fluid and air would come in. Now I use a 400ex master and it sure stops the trike quick. The other culprit could be the lines, the stock rubber lines wear out and will allow some air in, this was part of the problem too. First replace all the fluid, then master, then lines) If its a old bike I'd replace the lines right away.

I didnt take the hoses off...at my last race of the season the brakes went out so that is when we bled them...then they worked for about 2 rides then went out again....and so on....my 400ex is a 2000 model so it may be the hoses....

you bled them wrong and air entered the lines, or you have a hole in the lines and air is get'n in. go out and get youself a set of steel brake lines like these, work good.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/p0c91e9932b28381cdf9f4114c5581565/f9b308b6.jpg
