could you tell any power differences between your 426 and 416 or did the extra 1mm not make a difference?

I have had a JE 416 and JE 426 both 11:1 comp and the difference to me was the 426 had a little more power all around, revved slower, smoother power..mostly the 416 liked to be ran in the higher rpm's. I would go with a 416 first that way you have another bore left.

you didn't happen to drag race another bike to see if there was any difference did you? it makes sense the 426 would rev slower but would that be beneficial in a drag when your at higher rpm's most of the time.

yes, i have a 406 and it likes to be reved out too. it will hit the stock rev limit really easy and wants to even go past it a bit.
