i need to replace the stock chain tensioner on my 300ex and wanted to now if i should you a stock one or if there was an aftermarket one that works better. And how much will it cost. please let me now Joel.

Im guessing you taking about the timming chain tensioner.
If so the stock one is good. I don't think you can get a after market one

What is wrong with the oem one??

no i'm talking about the chain adjuster on the swingarm, to make the chain tighter, mine has a crack on it.Thanks though.

u must be talking about the bearing carrier. if you are going to replace id go with an aftermarket one. burgard has really good deals on them.

some kind of big wrench to take the axle nuts off. thats about it.
