Z400 Plastic on 400ex

Well I like the way the Z400 looks and I was thinkin getting the fullbore plastic. I know the Z and 400ex have roughly the same frame geometry and I was wondering if it would fit without modification.

Because I like the way the Suzuki looks but cant afford a water-cooled double overhead cam machine with reverse thats faster so I am stuck with trying to get the 400ex.

Well put SouthTown. I think it would look pretty cool. I personally think the 400 plastic needs a serious make over. Full bore plastic for the 400 in my opinion looks totally gay compared to the fullbore plastic for other machines. I would like to put the Arctic Cat 400 plastic on mine. Now that is some sharp looking plastic. Try it out,,I know rite now im trying to fit a raptor rear plastic on mine. Besides, if it looks bad, id still rather ride on an ugly quad than standing and watching.

Thats a good Idea too, arctic cat would look good. I remember seeing a Tecate-4 redone with Burnt Orange Z400 plastic and I thought that looked awesome and would try it. Either that or red. Lemme know how that raptor thing works out. I also have seen regular 400ex's where the you tape up the headlights so it looks like angry eyes.

Well the seat on the z's are very diffrent to the 400ex. The z gas tanks seats alot high. I don't think it would fit that clean. But the best way to find out is try it with some old plastics.

Good add me to your list too! Because an outdated ugly 400EX has no flair over a Z400. I'll put my z400 up against any 400EX in looks and power.
