400ex axle

has anyone tried a 400ex axle on the 450r yet?

i have heard that you can do it but it take a little work. they said you have to use a 250r collar. thats what i heard. i have not tried it.

I just took out my 450 axle to compare it to the 400ex and they are very similar but the offset on the sprocket hub is way off.

Okay ... what do u have to do to make it fit ?

if you have a aftermarket axle for a 400ex you would have to get a different sprocket hub made for the 450. the rest of the axle looks the same.
