card board , plastic...contruction papper, wood, ole tires,

i think your best bet would be some sheet metal though.
get a sheet of 4x4 sheet metal and some right and left snips mesuring tape and go to work....need some thing to bend it with and a scrib and you got it....shouldn't have more than 4 bends on each side i wouldn't think....

Why are you looking for them? Do you have a radator? Well Im wondering if I can put a 250r engine in my 300ex frame and i wish someone would help me out? Plus if I do get that done...I will need some of them too.

INSANE: And you'd need a longer swingarm, wider a-arms, etc. Why would you want to do all that? Is the R frame busted or something?

Put that in a 300 frame with stock dimensions, crack second gear and you're gonna look like a turtle in about 0.002 seconds.

Because the 250r engine is off one of them 250r 3-wheelers and i hate 3-wheelers...plus i love the way my 300 handles. I dont really see why it would tip back wards...i det mine beside my friends 250r and there not much different in length. All I want to know right now is if it will fit in the frame with out too much or any work to the frame!!!

i asked this question on here before and i got an answer something like this........

the 250r is liquid cool..so yuo'll need to make a place for the radiator (if it's possible)
the motor mounts would be in differant places so theres another weld.....

i'm not sure what else they said..i can't remember ..

whats wrong with your 300ex motor?...if nothing is wrong with it sell it and find a 250r frame...(i'd find the frame first)..
you could prolly sell just the runing 300ex engine for enugh money to buy a decent used 250r frame.....
but....you'd want all the wires plastic radiator swinger a-arms axel....you'd want a complete bike just minuse an engine.....so sell the 300ex complete and go from there.....
there was a guy on here in the classifides selling a 250r frame....but without all the extras......i'm sure someone else that knows more will help you when they see this post.....later man

You can buy a radiator for the 300ex. But i bought a pair off of tinner just for the looks. The scoops wont really help any unless you have a radiator, but i think it helps the looks. Also a cool place to put stickers... and stickers... and more stickers....

i want to do the same thing. i think it would be AWSOME. those bikes are so fast, but i like the size of my frame and evrything. the 400 and 250r frame are too big. a kid said that owns 2 250rs told me you could get one in without almost any fabrications. i think it would be cool. about the radiator, you can make a mount for it.

.oil radiator....skull's talking about a water one...for the 250r's liquid

i'd just sell the 300ex complete and find a 250r with a basket case motor....swap n go......

yeah, it's called an oil cooler. the atc 350x came with one. for the 300ex to be transfomed into a liquid cooled machine, it would take so much extensive work it wouldn't even be the same motor when you were done with it.
there is a major difference between liquid cooled with a radiator, and an oil cooler.

Insane, what year is your 250R?

Only the '85, '86, and '87 ATC250Rs have radiators. Any model before that was air cooled. They also only had 5 gears and the sprockets were on the opposite site of the swingarm (on the right if your looking from the back). I think the 300ex is on the left right? Any TRX250R frame will not take a '84 or older 250R motor.. unless you do some work to it.

Either way it would be quite a job to do. I don't think it would be worth the trouble...
