we just got out of school at noon...we have about 8 or 9 inches and its freezing rain right now. There is a layer of ice on top of the snow..its insane!

Lucky people...our school rarely has snow days, we were lucky we got two this year...we usually have to get over a foot of snow, thirteen deaths, freezing rain, hell freezing over, and etc. to have our school commity even THINK about DELAYING school....and i'm not kidding either:huh

Also when it's below -30 below, we shouldn't have school...a bunch of our buses wouldn't start, and one had the gas lines freeze up while driving...damn Wisconsin winters:grr:

I wish they would cancel school when we got snow here...that way we wouldn't have school for a good 9 months. We have close to 2 feet here, and we still have school. School is still open at -60....just below -50 school is "optional"(my parents still make me gooo:mad: ) You guys are lucky, they cancel school even when its "suposed" to rain and still hasn't...how lucky;)

Our district hardly ever cancels. Only when we get like 8-9 inches overnight and it is still snowing hard in the morning does it cancel, and they never cancel the night before. We only have about a foot on the ground. We had 2 big storms in like December, and just like 10 tiny 1-5" ones since then. But we've had some warm days so a lot of the snow has melted.

they didnt predict snow until 9 in the mornin here and when it came along with freezing rain at 7 no body was prepared the already released buses and most of the buses didnt get to school until 10 oclock, and class starts at 8:30:huh yet last year it didnt start to snow until 8 at night and the let us out the whole day, they ****ed up last year lettin us off when they shouldnt and this year they wont cancel school when it needs to be
