The fronts were a little hard to get going at irst, then they went, but I cant get the rear to turn for nothing! My rear shock is WAY outa tune, and I cant adjust it... I have like 8 inches of sag! A kid i know said that they droped his, and it messed sumthin up like maybe the threads... I didnt fallow what he was saying.....

Is this common, or do I need to take it off, and take it apart?

:(

On my TCS, on the ring that rotates, there was a very small allen plug that tightened down onto the shock body to keep it from turning by itself. It looked just like one of the holes. Look for that.

Have you jacked the bike up to take the weight off of it. My fronts were hard to turn then i jacked it up and they moved easy. Other than that it would have to be caught up on somethign, so you might have to take it off.

try turning it up at first, it will be easier, then once the threads underneath are exposed soak them with wd-40 then go back down...

I tried that already also, I will try some more, and if it doesnt work, I might take it off, and then mess with it... This kid said that they dropped his, and it messed it up, like bent it or sumthin, I am not shure... Has anyone herd of anything like this before? The "tensioner" is like 1/8th inch from the top of my shock...

take the air box and everything around the shock first ..elkas can be a pain to adjust preload if the threads get gunked up

I coat my shocks down with WD-40 after I wash it. It keeps the threads clean and everything working smooth.
