Thats Alma's old C-dale. There is race action some pics of my old Walsh C-dale conversion on Dana Creech's site in the 2003 London, KY race. I think there is one on cannondaleriders.com also.

that bike is nice!

I think they look so cool w/ the aluminum frame and the black side cases.

Do you know of any way possible of getting ahold of the old pics from the previous Walsh site?I emailed Walsh and they told me to contact a couple of people for more info. They (Walsh Racecraft) were also informative.

Thanks for the help.

O.K. it looks like the Walsh conversion is the route I will take, now how about some pics w/different color plastic, that is my next decision to make, income tax is coming ya know.I have seen red Honda, white Honda,Maier shiney silver.Could some one photoshop a couple different colors for me an post them here. I don't know how to post a link to this thread concerning having somthing photoshopped so any help w/that would also be helpful. Thanks,Jon

not a problem...

if your interested... Hellbound Racing had a kit, very very very similar to the walsh kit.... but a bit cheaper... very nice design... i have worked with both.

but check with hellbound to see if they still offer them... talk to Mike... tell him paul sent you... he will take care of you if he still has the kits.

Im working on photoshopping the other colors now-but i just realized i have no way to post the pics:eek2:

edit: after learning the hard way that silver is pretty hard to mimic (for me at least) i moved onto yellow. I only got the front fenders done and i'm headin out. If anyone else would step in and do some photoshopping it'd be great

I appreciate the effort.

The pics you sent me,are they of the Walsh kit or a kit built by Hellbound?

i am actually not sure which that was.... i walsh kit was bought and there were many copies made at the time, and that kit was from them... so it might have been the original ... i dont know for sure

i dont think don still has his cannondale... i haven talked to him in a while. it was sweet though.

but just so you guys know... i have an extra throttle cable that i want to get rid of... i dont know anyone anymore with a cannondale.... but we were putting 400ex throttles on them since they were more comfortable... i have a brand new cable to adapt a 400ex thumb throttle to the cannondale... they are $40 each.. it was a custom cable that i had a company make... it is my last one.

Has anyone had any bad experiences w/these kits?

NTPracing22
02-08-2004, 08:41 AM
i've heard nothing but good. I hear it makes the more bike comfortable as well as making it look killer

only problems are - small capacity fuel tank... aprrox 1 1/2 gal. wont last for trail riding or CNCC. great for mx though.

other problem is the high cost of the kits + expensive 250r plastic... but the look is well worth it in my opinion
