After reading a bit about it on their website, it is actually a 3 hr race for ATV's. 6 hrs for cycles.

Heck yeah, come on out, the Massacre is always a great time. we have ATV Open, ATV Pro, ATV School Boy (12-16yrs old), and ATV Vet 30. I will be racing the open class with my little bro, it is his one race he gets to race every year and we just go out and have a great time.

all the classes can be found here for the events:

the track is north of wichita on I-135, if you have ever heard of the Kansas Coliseum, it is a mile north of there, you exit on 101st street from I-135 and go west, before you even get to the first intersection, you will see the track on the south side of the road.

Did anyone race this? How was it? Got any pics?
I remember it was cold on Sunday and the wind was blowing like a b*tch. Wind chill temps had to be below zero. I know I personally wouldn't have lasted 3 hrs out in the snow with those types of temps. I bet it was an interesting race if it wasn't called off.

yes, we still had the race. I decided that it wasnt worth being wet and cold in freezing temps for a trophy, so i just stayed home. The bikes ran first, and they only ran 3 hours. they all had a hard time staying up. it was about 10 degrees then and the wind started to pick up. they decided to cut the quad race in half too, and only run 1.5 hours. The wind died down and it warmed up enough that the snow on the track melted and it was a wet, nasty, cold mess. there are some pics here : http://www.korrksmxracer.org and there are a few threads about the race in the message board at http://www.jeepscycleclub.com

also, the guy that won the pro class was on a new 450R and lapped the entire field.:macho
