There seems to be quite alot of people buying the yfzs.. personally spending that much money to me, would be a big thing, and i would wait a little more to find out about the trx.

Well, crazy honda doesn't usually get to ride anywhere... maybe now that he has something good that will change! :p

We ride sometimes at New Stanton/ Hunker area. Some riding in Adamsburg by Irwin, Rostraver, and some poker runs. Rider11x is who I usaully ride with, while crazy honda spends the summer in his monster garage trying to put something together. Well, he did have his Banshee out twice last year... first time Rdier11x and I embarrassed him, next time his ride was cut short due to his lower ball joint separating from the a-arm... the resulting sharp left turn was comical!

We've actually been fortunate in my area that we have almost no snow ... maybe 6 inches or so . Drive within a 50 mile radius and they got over 2 feet . I love the YFZ so far and I'll be looking for more power out of it soon . Can't wait till the MX tracks open up .

:huh Sorry, but why do you think there would be a difference in how a motor is run on trails and roads compared to racing? If anythying racing will cause the motor to be pushed harder than at any other time.
I too had my doubts about Yamaha doing their homework prior to the release of the YFZ, from seeing what happened with the Raptors, but it seems they really stepped up to the plate with the YFZ. The best part is the pros have adopted it, and that will result in a huge push of aftermarket parts for it.
I am patiently waiting for Crazy Honda to break his in, so I can get a test ride on his YFZ. I am anxious to see what they got. I'm sure my ride will result in alot of cussing because I will see first hand how much advantage it has on my ole' 400ex. Oh well, I will still be riding my 400 for about 10 more years, I just gave up my 87' 250x in 2001.:D

Only reasion for the D class is to see if the guy on the C dale is there and runs D if not ill be in C. You need to bring out that lil Quadrunner you got  out for a run. I pushed the yfz to the stop today and all I can say is by by lt.:D :p

All I can say is don't lose any sleep over it with Crazy Honda at the controls! We dragged on a icey/snowy gravel lane with moderate traction, that was straight and flat for about 100 yards were we raced. I won 4 of 4 with a CT piped 400ex! :eek2: Granted the YFZ should eat me for lunch, so all I can figure is it must have been rider error.
He complained of lack of traction so I swapped lanes with him twice, with no change in the results! I got about 3 quad legnths on him out of the hole, and he would start to reel me in at about 75 yards from the start.

I think he is looking to swap his YFZ for a 400ex! J/k:D

If only the suitcase I left him in, on someones doorstep wouldn't have had my return address on it... :( Ahhh... just kiddin Clyde, you'll gettem at the race this weekend, I'll bring my camera... and helmet! just rember he had60 extra pounds and hole shots on ice/snow. as soon as I hit some of the gravel about 3/4 of the way down I pulled on him like he was sitting still and for the record I had him the first time so he shortend the drag by 20 feet
