Is Honda Coming Out With A 750?

I read on the net that Honda will be coming out with a 750 4 stroke liquid cooled sports quad. To go up against the kawaski V Force 700 and Yamaha Rarture 660. Has anyone else heard this? Release date was mid summer of 2004. Let me know if anyone else has heard this!

honda needs a big-bore sports quad such as:

450r suspention, 650cc, reverse, 6-speed, 46" width, nobody wants to push a 650cc quad back...gotta have reverse...it needs whoopass plastic and graphics...no dull, flat edged plastic like the 450r.

no industry has done that ^ basically a more reliable raptor with a 6th gear.

A buddy of mine hacked into the Honda site and found the release date of a new sport quad to be April 1, 2004. Which is a wierd date because there have been numorous other companies over the years releasing on that date also. I also went into my local dealer and put a $1 down payment on the new one to be released in April. I don't know about the rest of you but all this sounds to good to be true, the Rincon engine in an all aluminum frame. What does everybody think?

I wasent trying to start anything but I was at the dealer yesterday and thats what the guy told me. Yeah its a little odd if it came out on April 1 but i was told it wouldnt come out till mid summer. Honda needs to come out with a bigger sports quad with reverse, that Kawaski 700 V Force is a bad A** Quad! I was thinking about buying one but if Honda comes out with a 750 ill wait and buy it. Has anyone riden the V Force yet, I couldnt believe the power it has. 10" rims and Holeshot XCT tires comes stock. I hope I hear something soon about Honda 750 because im on edge of buying the 700 V Force. Ill keep my 400 of course but i need lots more power. The V Force looks giant compared to the 400ex. They had them sitting side by side at my dealer and i could'nt believe the size difference, yeah its a lot more weight but for the riding that i do (major woods riding) it would be perfect for!

I really don't understand why a lot of people drool over a huge heavy motor in a quad. Just look at the raptor. Its got 210cc's over the yfz. And thats all it has over it.

I don't know if honda would make a sport quad with there automatic. It probley would not be reliable enough to meet there standards for a sport quad. And isn't the rincons motor sideways mounted so it would be shaft drive also and wieght 600 pounds.

TRFOXX i havent ridden 1 but my friend has 1 and ive ridden next to it and examined it and it does rip they dragged it against a 400 and it won next time he comes over to ride ill exact if i can ride it

Hey I only put $1 down. I already have a XR50 so why not have a TRX50EX to trick out and set next to it. MINIs are in, don't you know.:D
