Title Question

My dad is going to be buying a 300EX soon. It has no title, but we need to get a title because we trail ride. Is it easy to get a title and where could I get one, besides from DCNR? Also. is there a way you could check the VIN number to see if it was stolen or not? Isnt there a site you can do that? Is anybody here a member to that site and could check the VIN # for me if I give it to them?

you have to give the VIN# to your local DMV....then in about a week you should find out all of the stuff that has been reported with that vin #....a new title is kinda expensive too. definately get a title b/c you will be the one at fault if it was stolen
