He lived... I dont think they can show a video of a guy getting killed (this is a demo video for a respectable company). Besides, if you listen carefully, I think you can hear him mumble something at the very end...

man a kid around here was going 70 and hit something, he split his tounge, broke both arms and legs, broke several vertebres, and needs tons of reconstructive surgery to his face just for it to look half normal again, all this by not wearing a seat belt
