What will happen if you do not put anti-sieze on the header/silencer connection?

Will it just never come off? Or is the anti-sieze to make it easier to slip on.

If you don't put any on it, you will fight it trying to get everything lined up and you could end up having it in a bad bind. And as others have stated, it WILL NOT come apart after it has had several heat cycles ran through it. It is not corrosion that binds it together, it's designed as a precise slip fit with no clamp needed. Get some hi temp copper anti-seize, it's only a couple bucks at any auto parts store.
And the tubing is not aluminum.

It will help ya adjust the silencer into place to bolt up and it will allow you to take the pipe off in the future if needed.
