does anyone else have there choke removed?
how hard is it to do, and is it harder to start cold that way?
i guess that are the negatives to removing the choke???

I have removed my choke and Ive had no problems out of it at all. It does help a bit and its worth it. Mine always fires right up. Even if its cold. All you have to do is pump the gas a couple of times if its tryin not to start. And LRD 416 I would start with the 170 main. Thats what I got in mine and its perfect.

Yup,,,a 170 would be a good place to start or a 165,,and go ahead and up your pilot jet a size or 2 also if your gonna remove your choke..

going up 2 sizes in the pilot will help if you remove your choke??
when you remove the choke do you just take the 2 screws out of the butterfly and remove it or is there more to it then that?

Yes, there is more to it. You have to remove the entire slide assembly. When you remove the slide and go back to put it together make sure you put a little silicone under the black cap before you put it on to ensure no dust gets into the carb.
