OK........wtf? The large nut on the right hand of the axle on my EX300 will noy come off.
The narrow lock nut is loose and has backwards threads and Im told there is a snap clip hidden by the end of the large nut.
How can I get this stinkin nut to move.
Its a left hand nut correct??
I had a 280 pound fat guy jumpin on the wrench and it dont budge.

you got to tightne the nuts all the way 7 then it reveals the c clip....then you take the cclip off & the locknut pulls right off....good luck

You said you have the lock nut (skinny nut) loose. Now put the wrench on the larger nut and turn in the same direction. As you loosen the nut it should travel toward the swing arm. If it dosn't move to the left after you loosen the large nut, you may need to tap the lock nut assembly in toward the s/arm. This should expose the snap ring. Done.

The locktite from the factory had mine frozen on, I used a torch to heat it and it came loose.
