interchangeable parts 400ex&450r

What are some of the parts that are interchangeable between 400 and 450, I already heard about the air filter being the same, what else...bumber,etc..?

does any know the stock gearing on the 450r.. what combo is it... and would a bigger front sprocket give me more top end...

Bigger front sprocket will give a higher top speed, but you will loose that speed out of the corners or in tight terrain.

16-38, the rear sprocket is the same as the 400ex. You can run a 400ex/250R axle, but it needs to be set up for a dual row carrier. You can not swap the carriers, 1/8" off. You will need to run a 250R collar, and space your sprocket over that 1/8" ( I made a spacer).
Steering stem will not work.
AIr filter is the same, at least a 400ex filter will fit. Front bumper is the same.
Foot pegs will not work without some drilling.
A Arms will not fot
Nerfs will not fit.

i put my 400ex roll pegs on my 450r:blah:

One of my buddies put 86-87 250R AC Racing pro peg nerfs on his he said they bolted right up.
