well today cody wanted to really practice for an upcoming Hare Scaramble. so i busted a new trail that included som steep downhills and off cambers.

the snow rutted pretty good, but the overall expeirnce was really good for him. he finally learned about where your weight needs to be on the seat and all about ground clearence

at the bottom of this incline, the trail goes right and there is a decent sized "lip" at the bottom.

shifting his weight was lesson #1 today. its cold enough here that the snow is acting like mud and the quads would high center

my dad showed me the basics.....but after i got a certain age he lost interest in me, my other 2 brothers and my mom...the big D word....but i surpassed him...i learned from my own trial and errors....if i busted my arse....get back up and try again till it was right...take care of ya kids man...they will take care of you later in life...

I couldn't agree more Kenny. I have actually been thinking of selling my quad so I can spend more for them to race. I love watching them race more than I every enjoyed racing myself.:D

i dont like it when my mom goes to the track to watch...shes too uptight...she got scared when i showed her a picture of me jumping over my 2 little bro's off a small bmx ramp...she bout had a heart attack....ive never taken my mom trail ridding with me either.....im wfo all the time...she would proally drop dead she saw how i rode on the trails and the track...lol

Hats off to you Pappy. They look like their getting the riding down very well. I have two teenage girls and a wife that are into horses. Watching them put the time in and learn to ride and show their hard work at the local horse shows is pretty cool. I'll skip a quad ride with the guys to go see them ride.
