I use PJ1 too. Tried the honda filter oil once it came in a bottle and made a big mess. The pj1 spray can is much easier and cleaner.

I like the belray stuff. It is nice and tacky and the way it comes in the bottle you almost have to install it properly. I usually take the cap off and punch several small holes in the seal. This will help control the amount of oil comming out. It is way tackier than the PJ1. The biggest thing I don't like about the PJ1 is that it is to easy to oil it wrong. Most people will just spray the outside of the filter with it and call it good. That is WRONG! You need to work the oil completely through the filter. If you don't then it will only filter where the oil is and the filter won't filter nearly as well as it is designed to.

Yeah you have to work it into the filter good. I have 3 filters now and after i get it cleaned. I spray it inside and out throw it in a bag and work it in and let it sit till i need to use it.

We use the maxima foam filter oil, It comes out kind of runny so you can work it into the filter real good and then it becomes sticky. seems to work good.

I use no toil, it works good, and it's really easy to clean.

Have any of you experienced running rich after using the Maxima FFT + UNI Filter. I seem to be experiencing this and was wondering if it is just a result of using too much oil or what? I haven't had much of a problem with the FFT + Stock Filter.

Thanks,
Chris

The no toil is easy to spray on and Very easy to clean out.

Anyone use the Uni oil and spray cleaner. I have been using it for last 4-5 oil/ cleanings. Anyone else using the UNI oil ?
Anything wrong with it ?

no-toil is the best, no more nasty chemicals, you just fill sink with water add little scoop of cleaner powder and wash the filter. when your done just let whater run down the drain cause its biodegradable:)

i think honda discontinued their normal foam filter oil due to environmental reasons. i think that belray made that for honda in the first place though. i always used the honda oil because it was convenient to get from the shop, not because i think it was the best. now i have a bottle of belray but i haven't used it yet.

I use No-Toil. Haven't found a better one wet. Plus as said above, very easy to clean, and does not stink.

Notoil hands down. U just take the dirty filter, toss it in the washer, put in the cleaner stuff, and presto, clean filter!

And after dealing with Notoil when my Uni filter went south with the use of their product, I can't be happier. I gave a e-mail, stating the issue with the filter, and within three days I had a new Notoil filter and oiling kit! After I Call them with me not having a stock filter cage, they then proceded to custom build a filter for me, and sent it to me.

Purely class act!!!

I use maxima Fab1 - best foam oil I've found. Cleanup is easy with dawn dish washing soap.

I've got some notoil here at home that I've tried a couple times and while it is nice that it is biodegradeable & that cleanup powder is cool, I'm not impressed with it's properties as a filter oil.

Not impressed with Uni oil either. Uni oil has a problem of running down to the bottom of the filter.

Fab1 is also nice because of the blue die, easy to tell your oil coverage.
