Qualcomm Stadium hosted the 3rd Round of the Formula USA Pro Quad Series Event, and Roy Bloodworth (Bigkidracing.com) contributing Photo Journalist for EXriders.com was their to bring us all the Race Action :D

#55 Doug Gust (Suzuki) again wasn't in attendance for the event, and I will try to find out more details.

Also, #12 Keith Little(Ronnies / Lonestar) ran into engine problems during the qualifiers and was unable to compete in the Main Event.

The Heat Races were held in front of a packed crowd.

#4 Tim Farr grabbed the Holeshot with #19 Jason Dunkelberger and #1 Dana Creech Close behind

With Farr & Ellis winning their Heat Races, the stage was set for the riders to lineup for the Main Event.


The Start was unusual because it contained a jump on the main straight away before the first turn, and the entire front row seemed to hit the jump at the same time.

After turn One, #99 Patrick Brown (Lost Creek Cycle) was out front with #1 Dana Creech on his inside. #4 Tim Farr was close behind in 3rd

A few turns later Tim Farr snuck past Dana Creech and moved into the 2nd position.

Tim Farr looked incredible and was able to build a nice gap between him and 2nd place patrick brown. Tim Farr began lapping the field with a few laps to go, and easily went on to Win the Main for Two in a Row for Factory Honda!

The tracks at the monster truck shows never are MX style tracks..;) I think they should be better also but they have to lay out the track for the monster trucks not for the quads.

i think they should run the quads on on the same schedule as the pro supercross and outdoor series and run on the same track. that would be killer if that happnd.

Thanks for all the feedback on the race coverage. I did the reporting and my dad shot the pictures. And yes, we would love to see more of a motorcross track at the stadium races. Stay tuned for first round of ATVA Nationals.

pro quads on a supercross track? now that would be awsume great coverage felt like i was there :devil:
