400 carb on a 300?

I was wondering if a 400 carb would work on a 300 and if it does what kinda results would i have and would it be easy to do.

yes it would,althoguth you would need a 350X airboot for it,some gains,better throttle response,umm i guess maybe some low end to,and ya it would be easy to do jus hook up the airboot to your airbox,then the carb to the airboot,then the carb to the motor,then hook up your throttle cable and close everything back up put on plastics,then put thumb throttle back on handlebars and your done man

yeah man its pretty good gains for the money..i got the carb for $40 and the airboot for $10
