just curious guys how your 450r's are starting in the extreme cold, it like 18 degrees here and it takes me about 10 kicks to get it fired up.......anybody have any info...

Hey...

Don't know it specifically, but if it is like my YFZ was, it's probably jetted WAY lean from the factory. If you got the HRC kit, which I belive is a much bigger main jet, you may want to richen it up some with the mixture screw (unsure if it is a fuek screw, or air screw on that carb). Good luck...

yep, a little choke and when i remember to turn on the key :D i need to get ride of the key and add the kill switch. feel more at home.

:macho GOT MINE YESTERDAY AND PARTIALLY BROKE IT IN TODAY 5HRS. IT WAS ABOUT 15DEGREES OUT AND IT TOOK ABOUT 1-2 KICKS.

around 15-20 degrees here.
with choke, usually 2 kicks...sometimes one.
