is it possbiel to fit a crf 450 motor into a 250r stock chassis if so anybody have anyidea how much it wouuld cost thx

I think you would be better off using a 400 frame since the frame rails sit higher and 4 stroke motors are typically higher. I understand you already have a 250r but it would be a much easier swap with the 400 frame.

it can be done im sure i jsut dont know how. But the 400 frame would be easier.

i know a guy who did it. all i can say is u better either know how to cut and weld or know someone who does. i think he started by cuttin the subframe off, and then moved the bottm frame rail the crosses from the one side to the other in the back, then i dont remember, but he cut something else, and then welded it all back together where it needed to be. when he ended the motor kinda sat with the top leanin back. wasnt the prettest, but he made do with what he had.
