My 300 has idled great for only God knows how long, after I start it up, and warm the sucker up, it idles great...

then after some hard riding and high rpm revving about 15 min later it will not idle for ****, eventually it just dies...I have a 42 pilot, should I turn the fuel valve up a bit more?

dont flame the crap out of me because I didn't use the search, I did and couldnt find much about my problem....seems most of you exriders love to flame more than help

thanks for any help

You could try richening up the pilot screw a little. That may help. Or just turn the idle up slightly.

when i have this problem on my 400ex either my idle is too low or my fuel skrew is too rich. i have to turn my fuel skrew in and that fixes the problem.

yeh try to mess with your idle screw and ur air/fuel screw one of those is the problem and im bettin its ur fuel screw. try to turn ur idle up first since its easier.

I have been real busy latley and havent been able to do much but ride it twice...I will check the plug, my guess is it is solid black...but it idles fine when you warm it up, that why i dont think it is the idle screw, and most likely the fuel/air screw...

i will tool around with it, thanks for your help
