saw my first Ice race tonight. Im gonna try it tomorrow!!!

I went and watched our frineds in an Ice race tonight and after watching.. I want to try it sooooooooooooo Bad:blah: But my Quad is torn apart in the shop . But I got a n offer to run a YFZ450 tomorrow:eek: and Im gonna do it!!!:macho If all goes ell with my Son(he has been sick tongiht:( ) Ill race the Ice breaker class.....Im soo stoked!!!! Ill get some pics of the full week ends race, I got some sweet pics but they are mostly on 35mm so when I get them on Disc, ill post them...... WAY TO GO LOCAL RIDERS!!!! They all kicked Butt!!!:cool:

BTW hope the boy feels better nothing worse than a sick child believe me I've had a sickie for a couple months now, fighting ear infections & colds:grr: he's better now (cross your fingers) though I think I;m taking him riding today so he can get some seat time!! Did you get to see him on video?? What a kick huh thats the NEVER ENDING race LMAO!!!

Lance took first I think in the Heat race and third in the Main, Mandy took 1st place cause Lance was riding like a raped ape:macho and hit the wall a little and almost launched him off:eek: BTW..... Ahhh you lucky girl gettin to ride his quad :blah: it's the one he raced @ Monroe right?? that thing is SAWEEET!! We just got back from riding & had a pretty good time, I tell ya I'm thinkin I need a 400 :eek2: I just odn't like the 300 on the trails, my gearing is pretty low right now too but man my kid toasted me on his blaster on the straight away :grr: we can't be having that now!!! Lil man did good I took him down a pretty steep hill & he didn't want to do it at first but he finally did, he forgets he's got REAL brakes now LOL then we took him on a little track w/ some jumps & ya know I think thats gonna be his thing, he'll be the mx'er & DJ will be the flattracker I guess, cuz Trev just loves going over them jumps & thru the puddles:rolleyes:
BTW I seen you & Kim in Dirt Wheels :cool: I've sent 2 pics in so far guess I better just start inundating them w/ pics hahaha. I got race pics!!!!!!!:blah: :macho Ill have a few up in a few minutes,WOW I had such a blast!!! I wish the Ice breaker class got more time on the ice... I wanted to ride more!!!!I totally sucked:o but had a good time, I think I would have been alot better on my 400ex since I know my quad alot better, but when you dont have more than a few screws in your tires, I think mostly the tire type and rider are the only thing orking in your favor out there....Ill do dit again next year if they come to Idaho. Our locals kicked butt Now they go to Las Vegas net week(I think) for the championship race:macho Hope you all enjoy the pics......:)

Yup that was me!!.. I had a great time. The first night I took a 1st and a 3rd and the second night I took a 2nd and a 4th. i think I will be going to the flat track soon!! It got me the hankerin to go fast!

Yes he was very pissed. He just sat there the whole time until he got sick of waiting and got off and took the quad off. That guy is kindof a dink. He would always slam into the back of people.

Yea, ice racing is fun, My friend is doing ice racing in central wisconsin in the CWIRA. I went to one of the races and it really makes me want to join and race now.... the rubber class i think is the most fun to watch, because no matter how much money or what cc you have.. everyone is at the disadvantage of running unstudded..

Chandra was all off heading to help the guy out what a gal huh :p When they raced here there wasn't ANY wipeouts I don't think, in fact they weren't even going that fast looks like they were getting some speed here, maybe just cuz ours was the 1st one of season everybody was getting a feel for it!

Could have been.....It looked to me that Lance was mad and he figured the guyon the raptor could get his quad off and when he couldn't do it Lance had to jump in. Either way I am sure he was pissed.

Hey the Banshee that you fell in love w/ is owned and raced by a friend of mine, Deny Sommerfeldt of Beloit, Wi. He let me race it in the xiir series in Rockford, Il. on 2-16-04. It is extremely fast! I got 3rd place overall. It was the fastest quad out there, I just wasnt the fastest racer. I also know the guy who built the motor if you know of any one that has a banshee that wants to go fast.
