440 question

on average how much hp does a 440 kit add to your bike. and what about porting? i'm about to get a 450r but i have alot of money in suspesion on my 400 and was wondering if a well built 440 would stand a chance to a 450r. i need more power but i dont want to have to put all that money back into a bike again

well for a good 440 that will somewhat keep up with a 450r...it would cost u about 2 grand to do it.

I disagree..... I have a 440 now with every motor mod available (with exception of stroker crank) and have spent a ton of cash....motor entirely done at Duncan. I have a very hard time with the YFZ 450 in a drag and at the dunes.......your best bet would be buy a 450 and add some mods......you have plenty of room to move!
