sly, were hoobastank and P.O.D. with them?

Yes, P.O.D. and Hoobastank were there. The singer from Hoobastank sang the song "Girls just wanna have fun." It was a great show. P.O.D's Southtown was just plain awesome! The mosh went nuts! I would die to see Korn live, probably get killed in the mosh pit though!:eek2:

I saw Linkin Park in Philly a couple of weeks ago, they are a really good live band. I didn't care for P.O.D., and I missed Hoobastank. That was my 4th time seeing them, and I've always had a good time.

Greg I recognize a few of those bands on your list as christian bands...are they all or just a few...? really i'm just curious because im always looking for decent christian bands that don't sound like 20 years olds screaming sunday school songs while attempting to play guitar and bang on the drums:rolleyes:

I have seen them 2 times and both times they kicked ***! I like LP. The last time I saw them, Cypress Hill opened for them, that was f'n sweet. They brought out a 4ft bong and hit that mf like it was nothing...not that I know how to hit a bong:eek2:

Saw Ill Nino, Sevendust and Element Eighty last Wednesday. That was the best show I have ever been to, other than Robert Plant, lead singer for Zeppelin.

Whoo boy, dont let Spoon see those bands, hes into that music, has most of those bands on the PC. I took him to a concert recently. Poison the well, Every Time I Die and one other good one played that night. Every Time I die let him get on stage and sing with them, that was cool. A good one is coming up im taking him to also. Coheed and cambria, AFI, and Thursday. Right now I'm learning to play nerdy on the drums. Like i'll ever learn it. Also he wanted to see red light sting, but he had to miss that one. Dont forget Evergreen Terrace. They play around here alot and are up and coming. Personally, im not into the hardcore so much. I kinda lean towards fast catchy tunes by the White stripes and so on.

I went to the family values also when it was out here. That was about 2 years ago I think. As soon as staind came on, you could see like 3 thousand lighters flick on, and then smell nothing but pot.... damn stoners:grr:

I wish I had been into static-x when I was there, cause now I really like it lol.

Mudvayne is my favorite band there the only exception for math metal / nu metal for me just because there SICK....

There bassist and drummer IMO is probably one of the best out of all these new bands coming out WITH OUT A DOUBT!.

I saw mudvayne like 6 times since Augest 2001. I started listing to them when KILL I OUGHTA came out

Mudvayne IS and THE ONLY nu metal band i like and which perhaps is my favorite:devil:

Ahhh!! yew are so friggin' lucky. they are amazing...i love them. but they don't come tour around here often :( i do admit - the lead singer does not have a fabulous voice but the drummer and bassist (guitarist- credits to that dude too) MAKE the band.

they sound 20000x better live :)

Omg I know! He does sound a million times better....Same with Jonathan Davis (KorN) ok ok i know a lot of people just think he's a f#g with a winey voice....but by ALL means...seeing them live is like...WHOA! They are nothing like they are on the CDs...Jonathan has a better voice live than on his tracks...its truly amazing.

Here's a story - my mom is Jon Davis-Hater...she HATES him to death and thinks he's messed up for supporting porn and blah blah and all that jazz...well i won 2 tickets to see Korn and Disturbed on the POP SUX tour (we missed the band b4 them....ferget who...lol) and well...she loved Disturbed...which is coool...then KoRn came out and she was like...OMG THEY ROCK. and i was like - see?

Lol. So my mom respects the man a little more and even went to see him again! amazing how yew can change yer parents' minds...heh. i'll never forget it.
