Just started to explore powder coating as an option for my quad.

Just a simple question/s

Can this be done by the average person at home?

If so, where would one go to fine out the things needed to get into it as a hobby? (ie, directions, tools and supplies...)

Peace

My uncle was experimenting with it for his classic cars. He bought an old pos oven and put it in his garage... I don't know how it turned out though.

do a search. Pappy wrote in a thread about this. Yes you can do it at home.

You sure can, I have.
try www.columbiacoatings.com
and the eastwood company for starter kits.
a house hold Elec. oven will work fine for anything you can put into it. The oven size will be your limiting factor for how big of stuff you can do.
