anyone know of a momentary push button that will mount to the bars for a starter ......everyone around here has the kill switch that grounds out one the bars

i used the kill button from a cr250...worked like a champ

I just used a rubber kill button from a Honda dirtbike. It grounds to the bars, and it shocks the hell out of you if you accidentally touch the ground when starting the bike, but its sweet anyway.

i got a cr250 one too...don't know if it works yet or not though..gotta buy a cam and rocker GRR :grr:

chef..you have to wrap a peice of electric tape around the bars then it won't shock you lol :)

Never thought of that...it was kinda surprising though...and my gloves were soaked so it was pretty bad.:o

I like the kx/yz kill switch button better...Its just like the cannondale start button, and it doesnt have the giant rubber on it :p

i remember in welding class the teacher made us hold the electrode and the welding table. Me and one other guy did it but i nearly sh$t my pants.

ok thanks i wasnt sure if that would work but ill just put electrical tape on the bars

yea you can see in the pic I posted that the tape isnt really noticable

what did you do with the other wires that were on that switch.....did you hook them up to anything?....also sis you get rid of your key switch if so how did you wire that? ....the reason why i ask was im having trouble starting my new motor and i wanted to make sure i wired it right and dont have a grounding problem

I wired the engine stop slider wires into my prodesign kill switch, and with the headlight ones i just left in there and bolted the whole assembly down on my frame, so if I ever happen to put plastic with lights on it I will still be able to use the lights
