in dw, they had this article awhile ago on a z and kfx, they made the z a mx machine, holeshots aarms shox swing and 450, and then they sed the kfx was for trail riding and recreational, they put +3's on the dang thing:confused: and had holeshots on the front and mud lites on the back, they said it made the width 51 inches and this is for trail riding and recreational. what do all of you think about that, i was thinking plus 2 so i can use em for fun trail riding and mx racing, no gncc racing?

I LOVE my +3's on the trails!!!!!!!! I feel WAY faster with them! But I never really go in very tight trails either....

I was thinking +1's maybe but mine would sit really low then http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/pf6cee04a84e833fc23f96d92e088f858/f9c9d0c4.jpg

It shouldn't sit any lower with +1's. Maybe a little bit if the shocks are worn out?

+3's will most likely run you into some issues on the trails, from what I have been told that will get you into some unexpected trees alot easier. +2's w/4+1 wheels are what I am going with on the 300 and that will be plenty good for handling and clearance.

some of the trails around nj an pa i have trouble getting throught with 250r arms on my 300ex ,so im gessing they are about 1 1/2 inches wider one each side side with stock rims:confused:
