I just got new plastic. I looked at the options and here's wut i found:

_61100-HN1-000ZA __FENDER, FR. *R134* 81.58
__83550-HN1-000ZA __COVER, R. SIDE *NH1* 37.88
__83650-HN1-000ZA __COVER, L. SIDE *NH1* 37.88
80100-HN1-000ZA Rear Fneder 97
61301-HN1-000ZA Headlight Front 39
61302-HN1-000ZA Headlight Side Right 9
? Headlight Side Left 9
83700-HN1-000ZA Tank Cover 13

Stock Total = $324 + shipping

U should dbe able to goto http://www.servicehonda.com/ for these prices.

I wanted the race front with no headlights. I got Maier plastic.

Race One Piece Front fender
Add On Front Fenders
Rear Fender
Tank Cover

My total was $317 with shipping.

So actually, Maier is cheaper.

But........... You get what u pay for, and the Maier plastic is not very good quality. The mounting scheme is a poor solution to Maiers inability to mold plastic features (ie mount brackets) in their vacuum thermoforming process.

SO, unless you really want the no headlight look like i did, then stock plastic is a much better choice.

Go with stock plastic.

IMO

I forgot one thing.

The rear fender was a blem, so i got it at a better price than usual. So, that may put the cost for Maier vs. Stock at almost even. WIth that said, I would still recomend stock for quality.

i just think he wants like back and front not side panels and gas tank stuff.

Even if he just wants the front and rear, compared to Maier front and rear "stock configuration w/ headlight" so that he could keep the light and reuse the side covers and headlight, the OEM plastic is better is a better choice.

Bottom line, the Maier OEM replacement offers one advantage over OEM, it doesnt have the warning labels. All other aspects are lesser in some way. ei mounting, tolerances, finish.

And, I havent tried bending my new Maier plastic, but at one of the mounting points, it looks like its turning white where it got bent a bit. Is this plastic gonna turn white like the Yamaha plastic does? If so, I will be thouroughly dissapointed in the Maier product.

the only thing maier has over stock is color. but i like my red and blue thing i got goin so ima add a hood and call it quits on the plastic.
