I can say the LT elka rear shock is the shiznit and was a huge improvement over the standard rear elka. I was absolutely amazed in the performance it gave. 2 big thumbs up to Elka.:D

Gotta agree with you Rico, I adjusted mine more today and rode hard for about 4 hours and was just loving it. Only bad thing is that it is making me realize that either my fronts need some work or they just aren't capable of working as good as the rear setup.

Maybe you could go out to Glen Helen and help Gust. I heard his Elkas have been giving him fits last week. It looked like he popped a head gasket also.

Jeff is very funny and a really nice guy. I don't care if he tries to be a macho man, he is really nice. Always helping people out!!! Bryan, the arch rival from 4 Stroke A, parked next to him on the Pro Pits and the two joked all weekend.
Better luck in FL Jeff!

Hey now Kenny.....I got 13th not 17th.
After an awful start, I worked my way back through the pack and caught up to Santo. I believe we were running around 8th. Heading out on the 2nd lap, I had a wire come loose from the fuel pump and was down for about 6 or 7 minutes fixing it. I went back out on a mission to recover lost ground. I'm pretty happy with 13th considering how long I was down.

got 7th in sport, could have done better tho, i bent a tierod at the 5 mile mark on the first lap, so needless to say i couldnt go as fast as i wanted. still managed a lap and a half on a bent tierod and even gained a position on my last lap.

the trip there and back was great a little on the long side tho. 400exmom is really nice and meek and ranger400ex are too funny, they argue like they are married. lol cant wait until the next race!

Wow that is some padding in those seats..... Makes my YFZ seat look really hard :(........

On a serious note why do you run so much padding ? Is it for comfort or to put yourself in a better position for sitting and being able to stand up quicker ?

Thanks

i thought they looked pretty damn goofy when i first saw jeff's dale. i got a chance to sit on it and i was very surprised. jeff said it helps soak up alot of the small jolts and saves your back.

popo uses a gell insert on his z400's. that would be more my style, but they both work!!!
