I just got my new 400ex. I want to make it even faster and better for race and freestyle. Can you give me some ideas on what to put on it? And would a 440 big bore kit work on it? and how would that work? or what would you do to make it worth jumping and racing?

first off I would always do suspension that will make you go faster than any other mod that you can get :) after you have your suspension dailed in then you can start to do motor work :)

Glow plug, Do you have any suggestions on the best aftermarket suspension to go with?

What about works suspension? They are low priced. Are they good enough for flat track and or mx?

shocks are real important ,as for motor mods, i recommend a 416 kit with hot cam stage 2, k&n airfilter, aftermarket CDI box(rev higher) HMF, white brother, or duncan exhaust. i like the 416 kit better than the 440 because they rev faster and in my opinion are faster with more usable power and you still have 2-3 more bores to go. but the extra cc you get from the 440 kit will help.

I don't know if its true or not butttt i heard if you get a 440 big bore kit your going to blowing a lot of head gaskets:rolleyes:

dont buy works shocks heres the deal i am not bashing them they are "descent" shock but if you are willing to make the commitment to spend 500 bucks or so on shocks spend a couple hundred more and get a 1st class shock i made this mistake and am just trying to help you out my 2 cents
