valves?????

my 250x smoke when it is being warmed up and it was just rebuilt with new rings a few months ago. is it the valves? how hard is it to replace valves and what price will i be looking at?

Did you replace your valve seals? That's why it's smoking.

my smoked when i start it up and i just got my motorwork done about 2 to 3 months ago my quad always smokes when i start it up but i think its bc of all the compression that i have. 12.1

wat color smoke is it first of all,and u got 12:1 compression?if you are you should be running race gas to just to let you no,but what color is the smoke and you shouldve gotten the valve seels done to:o

compression has nothin to do with it smoking or not. u need to check the valve seats. or if it quits when ur engine warms up it might possibly be your valve seals.

ahh dont worry bout it i wasnt tryin to be a dick. i most of my knowledge off of this site just stick around and read some good threads and u can always search for old threads lots of good info.
