Saw mine earlier tonight sitting in the showroom at my dealer. Apparently it showed up this AM, but I didn't make it there in time to pick it up today, so I will be there at 9AM tomorrow to pick her up.

Possibly one of the 1st in Mass / NH

Your second i belive some guy i know form neatvmx his cuz got his 3 or 4 days ago. He got his in Middleborro,Mass.

He already sent it to walsh.

ok, so after getting it home and warming it up for a bit, I took her for a tear around my neighborhood. I didnt wind the throttle out hard, but it definetly pulls at least as hard, and prob harder than my 416. And dont take this the wrong way, my 416 walked away from most 430 and 440EX's, Z400s and the like. Awesome low end, hard pull thru mid....havent tapped into the top yet...

I can't wait to finish the break in and really wind it out.

Funny thing was, I wasnt the 1st one on the list at my dealer...(I was 3rd) but as I found out this AM, I WAS the first on the list who put money down.

Also, this dealer told me they are only getting 1 more in a couple weeks, and aren't expecting to receive more than 7 for the entire year!!!

Get on 'the list' if you havent already.

i was on a trx450r at cycles 128 in beverly mass on 1-26-04.what are your honest opinions of it? I have been waiting so i could make a side by side comparison of the trx and the yfz.i am still undecided antef spending three hours with each.needless to say i could have had the 450r on 1-26-04 but i declined .i am to undecided

My honest opinion? I love it...and have been waiting since 1989 for a quad like this. Its a racing Honda. It has a vastly superior (to my 416EX) suspension, looks sharp as hell, and goes (in stock form with a super-quiet exhaust) faster than my 416. Oh, and did I mention its a racing Honda.

However, I will eventually do the HRC kit, K&N filter and full exhaust system....as long as its 96db or less. I really think the TRX was meant to have the cam in the HRC kit, and therefore, that will be the extent of my mods to come. With that kit and setup, I believe it will be very close to YFZ power. I think the YFZ will have a couple ponies more, but I dont care. I wanted a high performance Honda ATV.

I really dont think you can go wrong buying either the TRX or the YFZ. Either is a great choice.....and soon, you will have 3 or 4 choices, as Suzuki is coming out with a racing 450 quad in 2005.

exactly. i picked mine up yesterday. this being my 1st performance 4 stroke its going to take a lot to get use to. i stalled it a few times yesterday. it feels great and i love how narrow it feels. cant wait to get my new tires on it, that will help it out alot.
