if you put a rev limiter on a quad it give you more rpm's...like 1000 more than stock

Most rev limiters for 300ex's are unlimited also,,which means,,it's much easier to blow the motor up,,,ask chris29 what happened his 1st trip out on his built 300ex with a new unlimited cdi...just words of advice. :D

So what you are saying is just leave it alone and deal with it

well I believe he spent $700 to fix the motor,,,just shift sooner or add more alternative power hop ups..

Im not sayin your wrong or anything Rico but when I started looking for a high rev CDI the first place I asked about them was over at marcums and what he told me was that the 300ex is so way over enginered that the rev limiter would'nt hurt anything unless you really beat your wheeler and rev it really hard and high. Also when you said it was unlimited what Terry told me was that all high rev cdi's are unlimited and that they just say the give u only 1,000 so you will think it is tottaly safe. Not sayin your wrong rico but thats just what I was told by a Professional

If I was u I would go for it as long as u dont rev it extremely hard it should be fine i know people that have them and said there awesome. I know its going to be my next mod ive got just about every mod i can get for the engine with out messin with the motor like Pistons, cam, valve springs, flywheel, etc. but the came seems like a good mod to so that will be next on the list after the CDI
