should i get a 400ex?? there is plenty with aftermarket parts in the 4000-5000 range...my only concern is no reverse....

It all depends on what kind of riding you do. And if reverse is a major concern for you, go for a KFX/Z400. Either way you can't go wrong as long as you are having fun and get a good deal.
